Hi everyone! 2009 has been a really busy year for all of us:

Right now IVY's currently hard at work recording our follow up album to In The Clear. I know we take forever between albums but believe me - another one is on it's way! Look for a release sometime in early 2010.

Adam formed a new band called TINTED WINDOWS with Taylor Hanson on vocals, James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins) on guitar and Bun E. Carlos (Cheap Trick) on drums. The result is a stripped-down, high-energy record that combines the strengths and identifiable styles of all four members, and yet doesn't really sound like anything else any of the four has done elsewhere. Meanwhile, I produced and mixed albums for Boston's JULIANA HATFIELD and Scottish legends TRASHCAN SINATRAS. I also completed BROOKVILLE's third album due out this fall. Here's an excerpt from the press release: "BROOKVILLE is Chase's other band outside of IVY, one that allows him to balance his talent for songcraft with his love for rich sonic landscapes and textures. In BROOKVILLE Chase is free to sing and to explore the type of languid, atmospheric music that is only hinted at within the tight pop framework of IVY's records."

Dominique recently formed a new band (unnamed as of this date) with me, and finishing touches were completed on it this past winter. These are songs written on either harpsichord, wurlitzer or organ and the band features members of THE POSTMARKS on bass and drums and Bruce Driscoll (BLONDFIRE, IVY, BROOKVILLE) on guitar. The album is slated for a fall 2009 release.
